Three modular training course on the methods of teaching Polish
This training course is designed for teachers of Polish who work abroad. A good command of Polish and teaching experience is required. The course focuses on methods of teaching Polish and Polish literature. Two options are available:
Teaching in primary schools (classes 1 through 4)
Teaching in secondary and post-secondary schools

In addition to practical language classes, considerable attention is given to Polish literature and history as well as to various aspects on language teaching, psychology, methodology, and contemporary culture. The entire course comprises three three-week modules organised during holidays in three consecutive years. Classes are usually held in July. The course ends with a final examination - both written and oral. Holders of the diploma are authorised to teach in Polish schools abroad. The course offers many extracurricular activities.

School of Polish Language and Culture
The School has been in existence 25 years during which period it has collaborated with the Kosciuszko Foundation and the Universities of Wisconsin and New Hampshire. It offers both summer and year-long Polish Language instruction.

    Summer Program
The School offers Polish language instruction during each summer. Instruction is offered at three levels of intensity, in terms of class hours per week (ranging from 25 to 37 45 minute periods per week), and for durations ranging from 2 to 5 weeks. Polish is taught in small groups and students are divided according to their language proficiency into beginning, intermediate and advanced groups. One academic period of 45 minutes is devoted each day to a lecture on Polish culture, history, or contemporary issues. Since the lectures are given in both Polish and English, the student can choose which to attend.
